Oral Surgeon Dr. Dylan Spendal

Dr. Dylan Spendal is originally from Keizer Oregon. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Brigham Young University- Idaho. He went on to attend dental school and earn his DMD degree from Oregon Health and Science University. After graduation from dental school, he completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at the University of Maryland and Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore Maryland. Dr. Spendal completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.

Once he completed his residency, Dr. Spendal decided to return to the Pacific Northwest to establish his practice. His practice involves a wide range of oral surgery including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, and oral pathology.

Dr. Spendal is also on staff as an Associate Professor at OHSU, where he is involved with the Dental Student Teaching Clinics. He is currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). His professional affiliations include the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Oregon Dental Association (ODA), and the Washington County Dental Society.

Dr. Spendal and his wife Melissa have three lovely daughters together. They enjoy spending time together at home, gardening, playing outside and exploring with the kids.
